Aveeno Protect and Hydrate spf 50 Review
It’s no secret that sunscreen should be part of your daily routine. It should be applied to every part of your exposed skin on a daily basis (rain or shine) to reduce risks of skin cancer and to prevent premature aging. There are thousands of choices when it comes to sunscreen protection. Finding the one that is right for you can be a daunting task, especially one for the face. Personally, I’ve tried so many I can’t even name them all. Many of them quickly found their way into the trash can as I found them too sticky, flaky, oily or leaves a residue. I recently tried Aveeno’s Protect and Hydrate spf 50 for the Face and was pleasantly surprised!
The American Academy of Dermatology recommends using sunscreen that offers Broad-spectrum protection (protects against UVA and UVB rays) and a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) 30 or higher. Aveeno Protect and Hydrate spf 50 for the Face fits the bill on both of these recommendations and more importantly, didn’t end up in my trash can!
Aveeno Protect and Hydrate spf 50 is light-weight and absorbs quickly.
It leaves no residue or white sheen. It’s not sticky or greasy at all and didn’t have any adverse effects on my sensitive skin. Although this sunscreen is specifically for the face, you can use it on your body as well. The formula is fast absorbing, oil free, noncomedogenic, and sweat and water-resistant for 80 minutes.
Aveeno Protect and Hydrate is also available for the Body with Broad Spectrum coverage and SPF choices of 30, 50 and 70. Overall, this is a really good choice in Sunscreen protection for your face or body and the price is right!
Have you tried Aveeno Protect and Hydrate? What are your favorite Sunscreens for the face? As always, I’d love to hear from you. Please leave your comments below and share your thoughts.
Until next time…
