I’ve been hearing about Palmer’s Skin Therapy Oil for the Face for a few months and I finally got my hands on it! It was really hard to find and I was just about to order it when I found it at a local Walgreens! I’ve always been a big fan of Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Lotion and the Palmer’s Skin Therapy Oil Body is awesome. Although I don’t mind the cocoa butter (chocolate) scent of the lotion and oil for the Body, I was a bit concerned that the face oil would have the same scent. Relief… It doesn’t!
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil for the Face is said to address a multitude of skincare issues. It is said to correct dark spots, address fine lines & wrinkles, even skin tone and improve skin texture. Sounds good to me!! The ingredient list in this face oil is quite impressive. Let’s take a look…
This face oil has 10 Pure Oils:
Sweet Almond Oil, Sesame Oil, Coconut Oil, Macadamina Nut Oil, Apricot Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Argan Oil, Rosehip Oil, Camelina Oil and Sunflower Oil. WOW! Combined with the Cocoa Butter, these oils provide moisture and help with fine lines & wrinkles. It also has Retinol AND Vitamin C which improve and brighten skin tone and skin texture.
The oil comes in an amber glass dropper which I appreciate. The amber glass helps protect the oil and prevent it from breaking down. I use 3-4 drops of the oil every night. The oil is lightweight and absorbs easily into the skin. It leaves a slight dewy finish to the skin and a nice glow! I have normal to combination skin. Since I’ve been using this I find that I do not have to apply a moisturizer after applying the oil. The oil provides enough moisture. During the fall-winter months that may change and those with drier skin may need to apply a moisturizer after the oil.
The results I’ve seen from using the oil for a couple of weeks are quite impressive. My skin tone has improved and my face appears brighter with a glow to it. I have not seen much difference in fine lines/wrinkles after using this oil for a couple of weeks. Since I have been using retinol in my skincare routine for years, I may not see a noticeable difference and that’s fine. Overall, Palmer’s Skin Therapy Oil Face is a keeper and I will purchase it again. At an average price of around $12.00, you can’t beat the price and the impressive list of ingredients.
