Mountain Ocean Coconut Skin Trip Moisturizer Review

Mountain Ocean Coconut Skin Trip Moisturizer Review

Apparently I am REALLY late to this party!!  I recently picked up a bottle of Mountain Ocean Coconut Skin Trip Moisturizer at the grocery store.  I had never heard of this brand or seen this product before but took a chance on it.  Considering my obsession with anything coconut, it wasn’t that hard to take the chance.  And after the first use, I was hooked!

Out of curiosity, I googled Mountain Ocean Coconut Skin Trip Moisturizer and discovered that  the company that makes this moisturizer has been around for over 40 years and the lotion has quite a loyal following.  Although the company that makes it, Mountain Ocean, is out of Boulder, CO, the lotion has been a staple in the beach bags of Hawaii for many years and I can see why.

Here’s the scoop on this moisturizing lotion…

The texture is perfect.  It is milky, not thick and absorbs very quickly into the skin. It immediately softens the skin and leaves no grease or residue behind.  More importantly, your skin feels soft and still moisturized hours later.

The scent is AMAZING.  To me, it smells like a combination of coconuts and vanilla cream.  It is a light scent but it lasts throughout the day.

Mountain Ocean Coconut Skin Trip is blended with coconut oil, aloe vera, and distilled lanolin.

The ingredient list includes coconut oil, aloe vera, hybrid sunflower oil and distilled lanolin and the moisturizer is pH balanced.  The bottle is 8 ounces and should last a couple of months if used daily.  At roughly $10, this moisturizing lotion is a steal!

  1. I have used this product since the late 70’s. It was made near my home and for years it was only sold locally. I had to have friends and relatives ship it to me for years until it started showing up in organic stores. I used it as my babies lotion and religiously have it on hand for burns and sunburns. If applied constantly to say an oven burn it will take away the pain as well as prevent a blister. Just keep applying when the pain returns. It is the only lotion I will apply to my face. And it smells good.
