Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighter Review

It’s $10 Tuesday! This Week’s Best Drugstore Beauty Product:

Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighter Review

My love affair with Wet n Wild continues!!  This is the third time Wet n Wild has appeared as a $10 Tuesday featured drugstore find! I promise I don’t work for Wet n Wild!  I couldn’t resist.  The Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighter is AMAZING…. and I cannot believe it is under $5.00!!

After picking up this highlighter up on a whim, I did some research on it.  And I found that I am not the only one obsessed with it.  Turns out, celebrities and makeup artists love it as well.  In fact, when they launched last year as a limited edition item in just two shades, both shades sold out in less than an hour several times.  Today, the highlighters are available in the original two shades plus four more and they’re here to stay.  Wet n Wild recently announced it is back for good as a permanent collection.

Oh, thank goodness!! Did I mention this product is AMAZING??

Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighter Review
Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighter in Precious Petals

Let’s break it down…

Like the Wet n Wild Blushes, the Megaglo Highlighters are highly pigmented.  A little goes a long way. They are smooth, finely milled and apply smoothly.  More importantly, they contain NO chunky or obvious glitter.  If you are over 40 like myself, you KNOW how important it is to avoid glitter!!  They blend effortlessly and just leave your skin with a radiant, luminous glow.  The Megaglo Highlighter is available in six shades:

Megaglo Highlighter in Precious Petals
Precious Petals – a Pink Toned Champagne with a pearly finish.

Megaglo Highlighter in Crown of My CanopyCrown of My Canopy – a Peach Bronze Shade

Megaglo Highlighter in Botanic Dream

Botanic Dream – medium rosy pink w/ warm undertones

Megaglo Highlighter in Royal Calyx

Royal Calyx – cool lavender w/ metallic finish

Megaglo Highlighter in Golden Flower Crown

Golden Flower Crown – warm gold w/ metallic finish

Megaglow Highlighter in Blossom Glow

Blossom Glow – pale, whiter pink w/ warm undertones

I purchased and have been using Precious Petals, it is perfect for my fair to light skin tone.  I definitely plan on trying more shades like the Botanic Dream & Blossom Glow!

Wet n Wild has hit the jackpot with these Highlighters.  They are truly comparable to many of the higher end, MUCH more expensive highlighters on the market.  Stock up!  They’re worth it!

Have you tried the Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighters?  Which shade?  What is your favorite Highlighter?  Please leave your comments below.  As always, I’d love to hear from you!

Until next time…
