What’s In My Beauty Bag? – June, 2017
From Left to Right:
I wanted a bright bold pink color for the Summer and this color from Cover Girl is perfect. This lipstick is infused with Shea Butter & comes in 36 shades! Goes on smoothly and lasts several hours. I have this in Shade 365 – Enchantress Blush.
Flower Beauty Kiss Me Twice Cheek & Lip Chubby Stick
This is a sheer multi-tasker that you can use on your cheeks & lips. Perfect to carry in your beauty bag. I have this in Think Pink and a little goes a long way. It seems to be highly pigmented so you don’t need much on your cheeks to get a nice glow. Comes in 4 other shades, Raisin the Roof, Apricot a Lot, Can’t Refuschia & Rosie Posie!
FAVORITE! OMG – I am crazy about this Cream! This stuff is amazing.. Made with only 3 ingredients – shea butter, coconut oil & olive oil. They had me at coconut oil!
At over 60% shea butter, this cream absorbs quickly into the skin & stays there. And talk about a multi-tasker, the ways you can use this cream are endless. I use it on cuticles, elbows, under the eyes, on my hands & lips. You can use it on the face or body and you only need a tiny bit to get the job done. It contains no fragrance, fillers, no synthetics or water. Can you tell how much I like this stuff?
This drugstore classic is another multi-tasker. I like to carry it in my Beauty Bag & use it as a lip balm throughout the day. Of course you can also use it on cuticles, scars, marks, blemishes, dry skin…the list goes on.
FAVORITE! This lightweight, translucent powder is perfect for setting makeup. I carry it in my beauty bag for touch-ups throughout the day. For the price, this is a really good loose powder!
FAVORITE! These shadow sticks are amazing & SO easy to use. If you can draw with a crayon, you can use this! Just swipe it over your eyelid, blend with your fingers and you’re done! It literally takes 5 seconds. Just add more if you want more color. And this lasts ALL day, doesn’t crease & doesn’t smudge! Comes in several shades. I have this in Burnished Bronze (pictured above), Pink Champagne & Over the Taupe. Love them all!
I have the Urban Decay D-Slick Oil-Control Makeup Setting Spray. This formula controls & deflects shine & keeps skin matte while also setting your makeup. Urban Decay Makeup Setting Spray comes in two other formulas. The All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray which is said to keep makeup looking fresh for 16 hours. And the Chill Cooling & Hydrating Makeup Setting Spray with a cooling time release that is good for dry or combination skin. The only one I have tried is the D-Slick-Oil-Control Makeup Setting Spray & it is does set makeup well but I don’t find that it provides the oil-control that I was looking for. It is just ok for me. I have used other sprays that I like much better. Love other Urban Decay products but this formula is one I won’t buy again. I may give the All Nighter a try in the future.
FAVORITE! This is my favorite sunscreen for the face. It is great for sensitive skin & is perfect under makeup. Provides both UVA & UVB Protection with an SPF50! It’s really lightweight & not greasy at all with no residue. Love this!
As always, I hope you’ll leave your comments. Until next time…
