This Beauty Trend has the Beauty World all abuzz!  Also known as the No Makeup Look, this look is ALL ABOUT fresh faced, glowing, radiant skin.  Let’s dive right in to how to achieve this Look, a virtual No Makeup Look Tutorial!

The No-Makeup Look

The No Makeup Look is not as easy as it sounds!  Believe it or not it takes applying multiple products to your beautiful face to end up looking like you’re wearing NO Makeup!  LOL  The No Makeup Look is all about glowing, luminous skin, bright eyes and a touch of color and highlight.  Here are the steps you’ll need to take and the basic products you’ll need to create this look.

Create a Smooth, Luminous Canvas

On a clean face, apply a light facial oil or moisturizer to your face.  This will create a smooth & luminous canvas to begin your masterpiece!

Apply Foundation

Using a good makeup blending sponge, apply a Foundation that is not matte OR luminous but provides a natural finish.  Blend, blend & then blend some more with the makeup sponge.

Eyes

The key here is to keep your eyes very natural looking.  Begin by applying an eyeshadow a shade darker than your natural skin color to the crease of your eyes.  Blend well with a good eyeshadow brush.

 

 

 

 

Apply a shadow one shade darker than your skin in the crease of the eye.

Using a Brown eye pencil, line the upper lashes and line the lower lashes by applying 3 dots and then blending well.  Apply a lightweight mascara to upper & lower lashes.  And finally, apply a tinted eyebrow gel to the brows – using just enough to fill in gaps & provide light color.

Cheeks

Using a Sheer Cream Blush without any Shimmer or Glitter, Smile & apply to the apples of your cheeks.  Using your fingers, blend upward & blend well.  Reapply as needed but don’t overdo it.  Keep it simple!

Apply a Sheer, Creamy Highlighter to the following areas:

  • Just above the cheekbone blending upward towards the hairline.
  • Down the bridge of the nose.
  • Apply a dab on top of the cupid’s bow of the lips (the indent at the center of your top lip)
  • Over the inner corners of the eyes.

Make sure to blend the Highlighter well.  You can use your fingers or a fluffy eye shadow brush for blending.
