What’s In My Beauty Bag? – July, 2017
From Left to Right:
Becca Undereye Brightening Corrector
FAVORITE! It took me a few times with this to figure out exactly how to use it. Once I figured it out, by gosh, this stuff is AMAZING! You can use this as a concealer or in addition to a concealer. It brightens the undereye area and covers any darkness or redness that you have. Here’s the key.. A little goes a LONG way! If you use to much of this, it’s a mess. Just one little dab is all you need. Take a dab and pat it under the eye area. Just pat, pat, pat until it’s blended. You could also use a brush to blend but I prefer doing it with my fingers. Then apply concealer if needed. If not, set with powder and you’re good to go!
Matrix Total Results Rock it Texture Sea Salt Spray
FAVORITE! This is great for Summer to add a beachy texture to your hair. You can use this on wet or dry hair. I like to spray it on wet hair and then blow dry with a diffuser for a wavy, beachy look. And it lasts until you wash your hair! It’s lightweight, not sticky or stiff. Love this and I will be repurchasing!
FAVORITE! This blush comes in a stick cream to powder formula that I really love. It goes on creamy and blends perfectly. It just looks like a nice, natural flush on your cheeks. It’s sheer so if you’re looking for more color, you could build with it or use another blush underneath and then top with this. Also love the stick formula which is great for on the go touch-ups and carrying in a beauty bag. I got this in the shade Candy Kiss which is Pink. Comes in 3 other shades, Nude, Berry & Rose Gold.
Flower Beauty Glisten Up Chubby Highlighter
This is a really good drugstore highlighter. It’s a stick with a silky formula that blends really well. No shimmer or glitter and leaves a nice glow. You don’t need much so don’t overdo it. Just a couple light swipes across your cheekbones, inner corners of the eyes and down the bridge of the nose is all you need with this. Comes in 3 shades, I got the Pearl Shimmer. Also in Honey Bronze & Gold Coaster.
Bare Minerals Gen Nude Buttercream Lipgloss
I bought the shade “Must Have” which is a pink-nude. Very pretty shade. This lipgloss is creamy but feels a bit sticky to me. It lasts a couple of hours before you have to reapply. Like it but don’t love it. I love the Bare Minerals foundation and many other products from them. Just not sure if I would purchase this one again.
Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer Spf50
This is just a good, general purpose sunscreen that is compact enough to fit in a beauty bag. It’s lightweight and you can use it on the face or body and it’s Spf50!
Benefit They’re Real Tinted Primer
This is a lash primer that you can wear alone or wear under your mascara to give a boost to length & definition. I find that it doesn’t do much worn alone but does help underneath mascara with length and definition. The primer also conditions lashes with provitamin B5 which might be enough on it’s own to make this worthwhile!
As always, I hope you’ll leave your comments.
Until next time…
