Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color Review

I was a little skeptical about this lipstick because of the words “semi-matte” in the description.  But at under $3.00, I decided what the *** … why not!  I purchased the Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color in two shades, Rose-bud (medium rose-pink) & Think-Pink ( rich pastel pink).  More on that later… This lipstick is said to be a “4-hour, longwearing lip color that leaves a semi-matte cream finish in one stroke. Glides on easily with rich, velvety color that doesn’t cake, feather, or bleed.”  Let’s break it down.

I agree completely that it takes just one stroke of this lipstick, it is highly pigmented.  And it does last several hours, I would say at least 4-5 hours. This lipstick is made with hydrating skin-care ingredients: Hyaluronic Microspheres provide extraordinary adhesion to lips, an exclusive polymer complex offers cushion-like feel and texture, and natural marine plant extracts coenzyme Q10 and vitamins A & E help smooth lips.  After applying, I felt my lips looked a little dry so I applied lip balm on top which completely worked.  If you have younger lips, you probably won’t need to do that.  If you’re an over 40+ Girl, adding lip balm is the trick!

As I mentioned, I purchased Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color in Rose-bud & Think-Pink (both pictured above).  Rose-bud is a perfect medium rosy pink that looks very natural.  I loved it.  Think-Pink is a little too “barbie” pink for my fair skin tone.  I think it would look amazing on medium to dark and olive skin tones.  Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color is available in 26 shades as you can see from the shade chart below!  I definitely plan to try a few more!

Oh, and did I mention, this lipstick is under $3.00???

I don’t even know HOW they can do that, but I’m not complaining!

Overall, you can’t beat this lipstick for the price.  And the color selection is amazing with beautiful shades!  I will definitely be trying some more shades in the near future.
