Nars The Multiple Review

Nars the Multiple Review

Nars the Multiple has been around for many years, has a cult following and is surrounded by a lot of hype. Although I’m really picky when it comes to cream blushes, I decided it was time to take the plunge and I recently purchased my FIRST stick of Nars The Multiple .

Nars The Multiple is a cream to powder formula and is marketed as a multi stick that can be used on the face, eyes, lips and body.  I have been using Nars Powder Blushes for years and always loved them.  Until now, I hadn’t tried the cult favorite, Nars The Multiple.  I’ve read mixed reviews of the Multiple stick, women either seem to love it or not like it at all.

Nars the Multiple is available in 10 shades including the super popular shade, Orgasm.

Shade Selection

Nars The Multiple is available in 10 shades.  I purchased it in the shade Orgasm (a peachy, pink shimmer) Orgasm is a shade which is loved worldwide by millions of women. In the powder formula, the shade Orgasm gives that celebrity glow to the cheeks.  The cream to powder formula of this stick is very easy to apply and the texture is fantastic.  It melts right into the skin and blends effortlessly.

How & Where to Use Nars The Multiple

On the cheeks, The Multiple provides a sheer wash of color and a nice glow.  The color is very light and although buildable, I’ve found the stick alone does not provide enough color on my fair skin.  Layered on top or under another blush, it’s perfect.  Other shades may be different, but for Orgasm, I would describe this as more of a highlighter than a blush.  I like to apply the Multiple first and then apply a mineral powder blush on top.  I use Mineral Fusion in the shade Flashy and the combination is perfect!  If you’re looking for that red carpet glow, this is one formula that works!

On the Eyes, I love the Multiple!  For a natural or everyday eye look, this is perfect.  One swipe of this across the eyelids is all you need.  It blends perfectly.  I’ve read reviews from others who said they needed a primer on the eyes before applying this.  I don’t use a primer and have had no issues.  I also use it under the brow bone as a highlighter.

On the Lips, this was a NO go for me.  Too much shimmer, not enough color.  Perhaps in another shade I would try again on the lips but for now, I’ll stick to cheeks and eyes.

Fun Fact: Nars The Multiple can also be used on the body to highlight collarbones and shoulders or anywhere that want to add a glow to the skin.

I am excited to try Nars the Multiple in other shades.  However, I won’t be buying it too often because the price for this multi stick is a whopping $39.00 USD.  Now granted, I think the stick will last a long time but the price tag is still a bit high.  Overall, I am pleased with Nars the Multiple and will purchase again when I’m in the mood to splurge!

Nars the Multiple Cons:

  1. I had no idea about this product by Nars. I have used a few by Nars and love them all. I love the Bite Multistick. Multi purpose products in general are great to use and travel with. 🙂 Will check this one.

  2. I’m going to have to try that out! I’m not the most knowledgeable about makeup so I’ll have to keep stopping by your blog to see what products I should use. I love how honest and informative you are about them. I’m happy to have found your blog!

  3. Thank you for the lovely review! The sticks look gorgeous. It’s good to know that they work better on the cheeks and eyes than on the lips although I would not have expected that. Thank you for sharing!
