Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blends Review

I picked this up on a whim. Seriously, just because I thought the color combination was pretty! LOL I am really glad that I did because it has quickly become a go to favorite of mine. Click To TweetNeutrogena Healthy Skin Blends are designed to to give sheer, illuminating color to help enhance skin’s natural, healthy appearance.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blends comes in three shades, Clean (translucent), Pure (blush) and Sunkissed (bronzer).  I picked up Pure, the blush shade which is warm with pops of pink mixed with peach and gold highlighters (pictured below).  For the purpose of this Review, I’ll be focusing on the Blush in Pure.  Let’s take a closer look…

Neutrogena describes their Healthy Skin Blends as…

“Designed to give sheer, illuminating color to help enhance skin’s natural, healthy appearance. A sweep of the brush illuminates your face for a naturally healthy look. This dermatologist-developed blush is made up of a collection of shades that blend together for sheer color with subtle shimmer and natural-looking results, regardless of your skin tone. Enriched with Vitamin C and botanical conditioners, the powder technology incorporates advanced gel systems for easy application and soft feel.”

The texture of the Healthy Skin Blends is velvety and the color of the product in Pure is very sheer with added highlight that provides a sheen glow on the cheekbones.  The brush picks up a lot of the product and like to use my Real Techniques Blush Brush with this.  I have fair skin and the color from the blush shade, Pure, is fine on me.  It provides a very natural looking pink flush with an added glow from the highlighter.  Medium to Darker skin tones may not get enough color from this but could still use it on top of blush or on the cheekbones as a highlighter.

Overall, this Blush does exactly what the description says it does. It provides sheer, illuminating color to help enhance skin's natural, healthy appearance. If that's what you are after, definitely give this a try. Click To TweetI think you’ll love it.
